FAST-TRACK: Local hosts

Fast-tracking your local event startup

REGISTER HERE NOW for either:

  • Friday June 26 at UTC 9.00am-10.00am
  • Thursday July 2 at UTC 1.00pm-2.00pm

PS: If initially you would like to have a one-to-one conversation with a #GovAfterShock team member on learning the best way to start, then please contact us.

It’s exciting that the #GovAfterShock team have already had enquiries from cities and organisations in 13 countries who are enthusiastic and committed to hosting a local event within the global program on November 17-18.

While the Co-design sessions are being held until the end of July we won’t yet have all the answers, however we want to enable these keen event organisers to keep momentum and also to get the special benefit of being supported by the worldwide co-design crew during July.

If you’re one of those committed organisations or individuals then join us for this special 60-minute video meetup via Zoom. We’ll be exploring the essential building blocks for co-hosting a local event as well as how to go about inviting your network to fast-track forming a local team.

This ‘advance’ event start-up program is for those enthusiastic to move quickly to commence your #GovAfterShock local event planning for your city or organisation – perhaps as a blueprint for others. So join in a ‘Startup Fast-Track’ session if you might be one of these:

  • INTRODUCING MY ORGANISATION: During July I would like to invite a #GovAfterShock team member to speak via video to my organisation or team about our options for hosting an event in November
  • STARTING A LOCAL GROUP: During July I would like to gather others in my city or organisation to hear from a #GovAfterShock team member about assembling a diverse organising group

So please join a one hour ‘Startup FastTrack’ session if one of these options feels right for you and you want to learn more about hosting a local video meetup in July with a #GovAfterShock live presentation.
